Islamabad’s Two Railway Stations to Get Modern Makeover
Pakistan Railways has decided to make two railway stations in Islamabad modern and people-friendly.
In this regard, an important meeting was held for the renovation of Golra and Margalla stations, which was chaired by Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi.
The Railways Minister said that modern restaurants will be set up in private ownership at the historic Golra and modern Margalla stations in Islamabad to provide better facilities to passengers and citizens.
The management of the restaurants will be done through outsourcing so that people can enjoy food and drink in a comfortable environment.
In addition, modern electric poles will be installed at both stations, and clean and comfortable benches will also be provided for the convenience of the public in the evening.
The Railways Minister said that these steps are being taken to make the railway stations more friendly and pleasant.
