Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was arrested from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, but official sources have denied it it. According to sources, IG Islamabad detained Ali Amin Gandapur.
The sources said that legal action will be taken against Ali Amin Gandapur for attacking the state, he is liable for damaging government property. The sources further said that there are also allegations of misusing government resources on Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
On the other hand, official sources denied and said that the news of Ali Amin Gandapur’s arrest was false. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information Barrister Saif said that there is no contact with Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. He further said that Rangers have sealed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad.
Earlier, a heavy contingent of police rangers had entered Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Islam, while prisoner vans were also present outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur went to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House to reach Islamabad.
Outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House, a large number of Rangers and law enforcement agencies are deployed.
Earlier, the court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the case of illegal arms and liquor recovery.
The case of illegal arms and liquor recovery against Ali Amin Gandapur was heard in District and Sessions Courts Islamabad.
A case has been registered against Ali Amin Gandapur in Bahara Kahu Police Station which was heard by Judicial Magistrate Mubasher Hussain Zaidi.
Despite several court summons, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur did not appear in court.
The court ordered that Ali Amin Gandapur should be arrested and produced in the court on the next hearing.
Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin went to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House from China Chowk after reaching Islamabad for a protest in Gandapur D Chowk Islamabad.
The convoy under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur crossed all obstacles and reached Islamabad.
On the other hand, there are clashes between PTI workers and police at different places.
