Islamabad Court Attack: Major Breakthrough as Facilitator Arrested

  A significant development has emerged in the investigation of the suicide attack at the Judicial Complex in G-11, Islamabad. A joint operation conducted by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has resulted in the arrest of the attack’s facilitato,r along with four key members of the terrorist cell involved. TTP / Khawarij Network Exposed According to investigators, the arrested militants were linked to the TTP / Khawarij network, which planned the suicide attack with the intent to cause maximum casualties in Islamabad. The planning and instructions for the attack were issued through Telegram by Commander Saeed ur Rehman alias Dadullah, who is based in Afghanistan. Handler Confesses During interrogation, the suicide bomber’s handler, Sajidullah alias Sheena, confessed to the crime and made several important revelations. He stated that Dadullah, who serves as the TTP’s intelligence chief (originally from Nawagai, Bajaur and currently based in Afghanistan), had sent him photographs of the suicide bomber Usman alias Qari so he could receive him upon his arrival in Pakistan. The suicide bomber Usman belonged to the Shinwari tribe and was a resident of Achin, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. Movement Inside Pakistan & Delivery of Suicide Vest After reaching Pakistan, Sajidullah sheltered the bomber in the outskirts of Islamabad. On Dadullah’s instructions, a suicide jacket was obtained from Akhan Baba graveyard in Peshawar, which was later handed over to Usman on the day of the attack. Entire Terrorist Cell Arrested The joint operation led to the arrest of the terrorist cell’s operational commander along with three of his associates. Investigations are still underway, and further revelations and arrests are expected.
