Ishaq Dar Arrives in Kabul for Trilateral Talks

  Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister And Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Has Arrived In Kabul On A One-Day Visit To Participate In The Sixth Pakistan-China-Afghanistan Trilateral Dialogue. He Is Accompanied By Pakistan’s Special Representative For Afghanistan, Muhammad Sadiq, Along With Senior Officials From The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs. According To The Foreign Office, The Meeting Will Focus On Counterterrorism, Trade, Peace, And Other Key Issues. Ishaq Dar Will Also Hold A Meeting With The Acting Afghan Foreign Minister To Discuss Bilateral Relations. For The First Time, Afghanistan Is Hosting The Trilateral Dialogue, With The Foreign Ministers Of China And Pakistan Invited To Discuss The Country’s Economic And Security Future. The Agenda Includes Expanding Cpec, Addressing Terrorist Organizations Operating On Afghan Soil, As Well As Matters Related To Peace, Security, And Development. Later, The Chinese Foreign Minister Will Travel From Kabul To Islamabad To Attend The Annual Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue On August 21. It Is Worth Noting That The Last Trilateral Meeting Was Held Earlier This Year On May 21 In Beijing.
