Iran’s Nuclear Facilities Survived US Airstrikes : US Media

Despite recent US airstrikes on Iran, American media reports claim that Iran’s nuclear infrastructure remains largely intact. CNN, citing initial Pentagon intelligence assessments, reported that the strikes only delayed Iran’s nuclear program by a few months and failed to destroy its core uranium enrichment capabilities.

On June 21, the US Air Force targeted three key Iranian nuclear sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. While President Trump hailed the operation as a “complete success,” intelligence reports suggest otherwise, noting that most underground centrifuges survived the bombings.

The White House dismissed these reports as false and politically motivated. Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt claimed the leak came from a “defeated low-level” intelligence figure aiming to discredit the president and US pilots.

Defense Secretary also rejected the media’s narrative, insisting that Iran’s nuclear ambitions were decisively dismantled. However, international analysts maintain that Iran still retains the capacity to develop a nuclear weapon.

President Trump lashed out at the media on his social platform “Truth Social,” branding CNN, ABC, and NBC as “fake news” and stating that only dishonest individuals were questioning the mission’s success.
