The ongoing tension between Iran and Israel and the impact of a possible war situation are also becoming noticeable on Pakistan’s aviation.

Due to the uncertainty in the international airspace, many international flights departing from and arriving in Pakistan have been delayed or canceled.

According to sources, a total of 7 flights from Najaf to Karachi, Baku to Lahore and Karachi to Jeddah have been completely canceled.

In addition, 2 flights of foreign airlines arriving in Karachi from Kuwait were delayed by more than 6 hours, while 2 flights from Dubai to Karachi (EK-606 and EK-607) departed two hours late.

Similarly, 4 flights operating between Karachi and Istanbul were delayed by more than an hour. The national airline’s flight PK-225 (Karachi to Muscat) was also delayed by five hours.

Meanwhile, four flights from Sharjah and Dubai to Faisalabad were delayed by two hours, while four flights from Sharjah to Sialkot and Dubai to Multan were delayed by more than an hour.

In the wake of the current tense situation, air traffic control has increased precautionary measures, and more flights are likely to be canceled or delayed.

Airlines have advised passengers to get the latest information about their flights before departure to avoid any inconvenience.
