India’s Missile Attack: Pakistan Downs 5 Warplanes

Pakistan Army Spokesperson DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has revealed that India launched missile attacks on Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad from its airspace, which has been termed as an unprovoked and cowardly act.

Pakistan Air Force responded immediately and decisively, and destroyed five enemy warplanes.

According to Major General Ahmed Sharif, the enemy fired missiles at three different locations, including Masjid Subhan Allah (Ahmedpur East), Bilal Masjid in Muzaffarabad, and Kotli.

Schools, madrasas, and a hospital were also targeted in these attacks. An innocent girl was seriously injured while a mosque in Shivaji Muzaffarabad was martyred.

DG ISPR said that the enemy launched the attack from its airspace, but no attempt to enter Pakistani territory was allowed to succeed.

He made it clear that Pakistan will respond to this attack at its chosen time and place, and every move of the enemy will be held to account.

The target of the Indian missile attacks was also a building in Muridke, which housed schools for boys and girls, an amadras, a mosque, and a hospital.

According to security sources, only civilians and innocent Pakistani citizens were targeted in the Indian attack.

In retaliation, Pakistani security forces destroyed 5 Indian warplanes,

shot down 2 Rafale aircraft, shot down an Indian drone in the Barnala sector,

targeted an Indian brigade headquarters, destroyed an Indian battalion headquarters in front of Lipa Valley, and destroyed a post in the Kot Kathira sector.

1 post was targeted with mortar shells, and an enemy post was blown up in the Dodanial sector on the LoC.

Sources say that the Pakistani Air Force and ground forces are fully prepared and are responding to the enemy’s aggression on every front.

An air emergency has been imposed at major airports in the country, while flight operations at the New Islamabad International Airport have been suspended, and the airspace has been closed for general flights.

It should be remembered that this attack was carried out after the incident in the Pahalgam area of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people were killed on April 22.

India had blamed Pakistan for the incident and had also announced the termination of the Indus Waters Treaty.

Security sources said that every drop of innocent blood will be accounted for, and the enemy will have to regret this cowardly act.
