Dubai: During the ongoing Dubai International Airshow, an Indian Tejas fighter jet crashed, resulting in the death of its pilot. Following the incident, the airshow was temporarily suspended.
According to global news agencies, the crash occurred on the final day of the airshow while the jet was performing aerial stunts. Preliminary reports suggest that a technical malfunction caused the accident. A few days ago, a video had surfaced showing an oil leak from the Tejas aircraft.
Indian media confirmed that the crash happened at 2:10 PM local time, and the Indian Air Force has verified the pilot’s death. This incident marks another setback for the Indian Air Force on the international stage.
