India Launches Cowardly Missile Attack on Pakistan, Innocent Child Martyred
India has launched a cowardly attack on Pakistan, firing missiles at three cities and targeting civilian populations. As a result of the Indian aggression, an innocent child has been martyred. Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that India fired missiles at three locations in Pakistan. According to DG ISPR, the attacks were carried out in Kotli and Muzaffarabad in Azad Kashmir and in Bahawalpur.
DG ISPR stated that India targeted the Subhan Allah Mosque in Ahmadpur East, Bahawalpur, where civilians were present. Terming the attack shameful and cowardly, he emphasized that India deliberately targeted non-combatants. He added that Pakistan will respond decisively at a time of its choosing, and an assessment of the damage is currently underway.
Innocent Child Martyred in Indian Attack
Security sources have confirmed that an innocent child was martyred in the attack, while a woman and a man sustained serious injuries. They further stated that India carried out the attack under the cover of darkness, targeting innocent Pakistani civilians. In response, Pakistan has already initiated retaliatory action.
“Every Drop of Innocent Blood Will Be Avenged”: Security Sources
Security officials stressed that the Pakistan Air Force and Army are delivering a strong response to India’s cowardly attack. They reiterated that the blood of innocent civilians will not go unpunished. Images from the affected sites show only civilians being targeted, with no military installations in sight. Every drop of innocent Pakistani blood will be avenged, they vowed.
Indian Ministry of Defence Confirms Attacks
India’s Ministry of Defence has confirmed carrying out attacks inside Pakistan, claiming to have targeted nine different locations.
Airspace Closed, All Flights Suspended
Following the attack, Pakistan’s airspace has been shut down and all flights suspended. Aviation sources reported that the airspace will remain closed for 48 hours, with an official NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued.
Background of Indo-Pak Tensions
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated following the killing of 26 Indian tourists in Pahalgam, Indian-occupied Kashmir, on April 22. Just a day before the missile strikes, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned that conflict with India had become inevitable and could erupt at any time.
