India Is Not Israel, Pakistan Is Not Palestine: DG ISPR
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has warned that if India attempts any aggression, Pakistan’s response will be very strong, immediate, and devastating.
In an interview with a Turkish news agency, he said that India is not Israel, and Pakistan is not Palestine, nor will we bow down to Indian domination.
He said that Pakistan is currently the country most affected by terrorism in the world. Since January 2024, more than 3700 terrorist incidents have occurred, which are being supported by India. 3896 people were martyred in these attacks, including 2582 civilians and security personnel.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif clarified that occupied Kashmir is an international dispute, and calling the situation there an internal matter of India is tantamount to denying the truth.
He said that the BLA openly sought help from India after the Jaffer Express attack, while Indian leaders, politicians, and former generals have made statements in their support.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, 5 Indian warplanes were shot down in the recent tension, including 3 modern Rafale aircraft, but New Delhi refuses to acknowledge this fact.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that if India wants peace in the region, it will have to act realistically.
