Students Will Get 14 Consecutive Holidays In KP

An announcement has been made that allows students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). To have 14 consecutive holidays, which is a welcome development. Both educators and students are relieved by this decision.

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has declared a week-long. Spring break for all educational establishments within the province.

The Elementary and Secondary Education Department announced in a notification. That from April 1 to April 8, all public and private educational institutions will be closed. Since the Eid holidays are scheduled to take place from April 9 to 14, they will have 14 days off in a row.

Is These Holidays Only for The Students?

It is important to note that the holidays are exclusively for students. It is necessary for all head teachers, principals, and secretarial staff to report to work on time.

According to the education department, “Other school staff will also be present. For the admission of new children and distribution of free books.”

Separately, the spring break schedule for Islamabad’s educational institutions. Was abruptly altered by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).

The FDE declared on Wednesday that all educational institutions. Under its jurisdiction will observe spring break from April 8–12. The Directorate also stated that the new academic year will start on April 15.

The FDE had previously declared that April 1–7, 2024, would be the dates of the spring break. Now, stakeholders have harshly criticized the abrupt change in the schedule.
