Imran Khan to appear before Anti-Terrorism Court via video link on Monday
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has been arrested in Jinnah House attack case.
The Investigation Police formally held Khan at Adiala Jail, where he will be investigated for charges related to provocation against the state.
According to Officials, the PTI founder appearances charges in 12 cases, including the May 9 Jinnah House attack.
The police firstly sought to transfer him to Lahore for further investigation, but the Rawalpindi court denied the request due to security issues.
Imran Khan is scheduled to appear before the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore via video link on Monday, where the police are probable to request his remand for further investigation related to the Jinnah House incident.
In a separate case, the NAB arrested Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in linking with a new reference to the Toshakhana case.
They were granted an eight-day physical remand. The federal government has since issued a order for their trial to be held at Adiala Jail.
