The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently released the updated rankings for Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 (T20) players. Kane Williamson, the captain of the New Zealand cricket team, has retained his top position in the Test players ranking, followed by England’s Joe Root in second place and Babar Azam from Pakistan in third place.
Darryl Mitchell from New Zealand moved up one position in the rankings to secure the fourth position, while Steve Smith from Australia dropped two positions to fifth place. Rohit Sharma from India climbed up five positions to secure the sixth position in the Test players ranking. In the Test bowlers ranking, Ravichandran Ashwin from India secured first place, followed by Josh Hazlewood from Australia who moved up two positions to secure second place.
Ravindra Jadeja from India retained his top position in the Test all-rounders ranking.
ODI Rankings
Pakistan’s Babar Azam has retained his first position in ICC ODI Batters, while South Africa’s Cashew Maharaj ranks first among bowlers.
Muhammad Nabi of Afghanistan continues to hold the first position.
T20 Ranking
According to the latest rankings in T20 international cricket, Surya Kumar Yadav from India is currently ranked first among batters. Muhammad Rizwan from Pakistan is in third place, while Babar Azam is in fourth.
Among the bowlers, Shakib-ul-Hasan from Bangladesh is in first place. Jasprit Bumrah from India has climbed to third place, and Shaheen Afridi from Pakistan has advanced to 10th place. Matt Henry from New Zealand has also made a significant jump of six places and is now ranked 12th.
