A high-level trade delegation from Saudi Arabia has arrived in Karachi for a two-day visit, during which it will hold meetings with Pakistan’s business community and various trade organizations.
According to sources, the delegation has scheduled meetings with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI), and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
The Chief Minister of Sindh and the Governor of Sindh are also expected to hold separate meetings with the Saudi delegation. Prominent industrialist Arif Habib and representatives of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce will also meet with the delegation to discuss investment and trade opportunities.
Sources further revealed that the Saudi team will be briefed in detail on investment prospects in ports, agriculture, IT, chemicals, and textile export sectors. The delegation is also scheduled to meet leaders of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) to explore collaboration in Pakistan’s construction industry.
