Harnai Blast: 11 Workers Killed
A powerful blast near a miners’ vehicle in Shahrag Tehsil of Harnai district of Balochistan killed 11 workers and injured 6.
According to Levies officials, the blast was carried out by an IED, the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital, while law enforcement agencies have reached the scene and are busy investigating.
Condemnation of the Balochistan government
The Balochistan government has expressed regret over this incident of terrorism and ordered an investigation.
Balochistan Governor Shahid Rind said that all evidence of the incident is being collected, while full medical facilities are being provided to the injured.
Balochistan Chief Minister’s response
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the blast, expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs, and directed to provide the best medical assistance to the injured.
He said that terrorists who target innocent citizens do not deserve any concessions.
Strict action will continue against those who destroy the peace of Balochistan, and the government is taking all possible steps to protect the lives and property of the people.
