Islamabad: With the government’s decision, the problem of passport makers has become easier, the printing of passports has been delayed for the past year across the country.
According to the details, measures were accelerated to end the passport crisis across the country, the government took an important decision to end the difficulties encountered in making passports.
The government has decided to order more machines for printing passports, in this regard DG Passports and Immigration has prepared a requisition and sent it to the Ministry of Interior.
Officials say that 6 desktops and 2 e-passport machines will be ordered in the new machines, the new machines can print 1000 passports in 1 hour.
It should be noted that the printing of passports has been delayed for the past year across the country. The reasons for the delay in passports were a shortage of paper and the low efficiency of machinery.
