Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal will oversee aid operations for Palestine and Lebanon.

The prime minister had instructed us to formulate the plan for an aid program for Palestine in three days and said that we had to be mobilized as a nation to help the Palestinian brothers under the control of the Zionist forces.

The government is repatriating 71 Pakistani citizens stranded in Lebanon through Damascus.

During the briefing in the meeting, the prime minister was told that since October 2023, 10 consignments of medicines, food items, clothes, and other aid items containing 1810 tons have been sent to Palestine by Pakistan, and more Pakistani citizens have been sent home from war-torn areas. The well-known NGOs of the country should be included in the aid activities, educational facilities should be provided to more students from Gaza in Pakistan.

Participation of educational institutions belonging to public and private sectors should be ensured in this activity.

The government called the Multi-Party Conference (MPC) in solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, holding Israel responsible for its genocidal actions. A stay was also demanded.
