Google Wallet Debuts in Pakistan for Digital Payments
According to a statement issued by tech company Google, the digital wallet app Google Wallet was introduced in Pakistan on Wednesday, which can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Where most people are embracing digital transactions, Google Wallet provides a secure, seamless and efficient way to make payments, shop and travel.
“It will enable Pakistanis to seamlessly check out online, including tap and pay in stores, and easily access their boarding passes while traveling.”
According to a statement issued by Google Office, Google Wallet provides people with a secure, simple, and more helpful payment experience. Users can get started by downloading the application through the Google Play Store.
Users with Visa and MasterCard can add their bank cards to Google Wallet. This facility will be a major milestone in the promotion of digital banking and electronic payments.
According to Farhan Qureshi, the launch of Google Wallet is part of efforts to promote digital payments in Pakistan, which will provide users with the opportunity to make secure and faster payments.
‘Google Wallet provides a safe, easy and efficient way through which users can make payments, shop and make travel easier.’
On the other hand, holders of Allied Bank, Easypaisa Digital Bank’s Visa Debit Card, JS Bank’s Visa Credit Cards and Master Debit Cards, as well as Zindagi Visa Debit and Credit Cards, and Mastercard Debit Cards will soon be able to add their cards to Google Wallet.
‘Wherever you see the Google Pay button, Google Wallet payment cards can be used to pay online or in-app merchants.
