A court in Islamabad has acquitted the founder of the PTI party in two cases related to a long march and vandalism. Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard the plea for acquittal and also for the production of the PTI founder. Lawyer Naeem argued on behalf of the PTI founder’s petition for acquittal. Panjotha argued that the allegations in all cases against the founder of PTI are only limited to Emma, as multiple cases were filed against her on the same day and she held the same role.
The plaintiff, who is the SHO, filed the cases without any authority and there are no statements of witnesses in the cases. Judge Shaista Kundi asked whether the PTI founder had previously been acquitted in other cases. The lawyer confirmed that the PTI founder had been acquitted in several cases. The petition for acquittal in the Long March vandalism case of Bani PTI was accepted and the founder was acquitted in both cases, while the request to appear in court was rejected. The cases were registered against Bani PTI in police stations Sahala and Lohi Bhir.
