General Asim Munir briefs Prime Minister Shahbaz on his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.
The Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today. According to sources, the meeting took place before the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) apex committee meeting. During their conversation, the Army Chief briefed the Prime Minister about his recent trip to Saudi Arabia. PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction with the friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The two also discussed the results of ongoing intelligence-based operations against terrorism. In addition, they discussed the professional and operational matters of the Pakistan Army, as well as the current state of national and internal security.
