Four Punjab Residents Shot Dead in Noshki
Noshki: In a tragic incident in the Gulangoor area of Noshki district, Balochistan, four bullet-riddled bodies were recovered. Levies forces reached the site and shifted the bodies to Noshki Teaching Hospital for legal formalities.
According to hospital sources, the deceased were identified as residents of Punjab. Two of them, Muin (son of Ghulam Mustafa) and Huzaifa (son of Muhammad Latif), belonged to Pakpattan, while the other two, Imran Ali and Irfan Ali (both sons of Maqsood Ahmed), were from Rahim Yar Khan.
Levies officials stated that the individuals were shot dead by unknown assailants. Evidence has been collected from the crime scene, and a thorough investigation has been initiated. The area has been cordoned off to trace the culprits.
Initial findings suggest the victims were shot or possibly tortured, but the final cause of death will be confirmed after postmortem reports.
This incident comes amid a rising wave of targeted attacks in Balochistan, particularly against laborers, travelers, and government employees from Punjab. In recent months, such incidents have largely been claimed by the banned militant group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
