Forces‘ Operation In DI Khan, 9 Terrorists Killed
Security forces killed 9 Khawarij terrorists, including a highly wanted terrorist commander, in a raid in Takwara area of Dera Ismail Khan on intelligence inputs.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an operation in Takwara on the night of April 6-7, during which 9 Khawarij terrorists were killed after an exchange of fire.
According to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain Khawarij terrorists. The slain terrorists include the leader of the foreign group, Shireen. Shireen was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
According to the Public Relations Department, Shireen was involved in the target killing of many innocent civilians. The terrorist Shireen was also responsible for the martyrdom of Captain Hasnain Akhtar.
According to the ISPR, a clearance operation is underway in the area, and Pakistani forces are determined to completely eliminate terrorism.
President Asif Ali Zardari, while paying tribute to the security forces for the successful security operation against terrorists in DI Khan, said that killing the leader of the terrorists in the operation is a great success of the security forces.
The President said that the operations of the forces will continue until the complete elimination of the terrorists. It is gratifying that the security forces of Pakistan are carrying out successful operations to eradicate terrorism. Our commitment to eliminate terrorist elements and defend the country will remain unwavering.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while paying tribute to the security forces for the successful operation against the terrorists of Fitna-ul-Kharij in DI Khan, said that the entire nation stands with the security forces in the war against terrorism. We are determined to completely eradicate all types of terrorism from the country.
