FlyDubai Plane Made an Embergency Landing At Karachi Airport

The flydubai aircraft that made an emergency landing in Karachi, south of Pakistan, earlier this week was believed to have included Israeli people. However, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) stated on Thursday that it was unaware of this information.

A passenger on board Flydubai flight FZ-569 became ill while the aircraft was traveling from Dubai to Colombo, Sri Lanka, necessitating an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport on Wednesday.

Citing the Israeli foreign ministry, The Times of Israel, an Israeli publication, stated that two Israeli citizens were among the passengers on the flight. The report also stated that the ministry had “worked, together with others, to ensure the welfare” of the Israelis.

However, Saifullah Khan, a spokesman for the PCAA, said that Pakistani authorities were not aware that there were Israeli citizens on the aircraft.

The Ffydubai flight 569 was headed from Dubai to Colombo when a woman’s condition deteriorated. The flight landed in Karachi at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the report, Khan told Arab News.

However, she passed away. The jet took off at three in the morning [on Thursday] and her body was delivered to the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, a charity in Malir, Pakistan. The report omitted information regarding the number of passengers and their nationalities.

According to Khan, the woman was a citizen of Sri Lanka and died on the plane. Her remains were transported by air to Sri Lanka.

Pakistan demands an independent Palestinian state based on “internationally agreed parameters” and the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif serving as its capital. Pakistan neither recognizes nor maintains diplomatic ties with Israel.

Pakistan has brought up the matter frequently at the UN and OIC since Israel’s war on Gaza started in October of last year, demanding that world powers and multilateral organizations put an end to Israeli military operations in the Palestinian territory.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, a spokesman for Pakistan’s foreign office, informed The Independent’s Urdu service that a medical issue caused the flydubai flight to be rerouted to Karachi.

She claimed, “A medical team examined the Sri Lankan woman on board and declared her dead, at which point the body was removed from the aircraft.” “No other traveler exited the aircraft.”
