Flash Floods Wreak Havoc In 12 Districts In Bangladesh

Monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Bangladesh, 2 people have died due to heavy rains and floods, 3 million people have been affected.

The Flood Forecasting Agency has predicted more rains in the country.

According to the report of the news agency, the recent monsoon rains and floods have severely affected different areas of Bangladesh.

Where many areas have been flooded, while houses and buildings have been severely damaged.

According to the Ministry of Disaster Management of Bangladesh, 2 people have died due to heavy rains and floods.

While 3 million people have been affected, whose houses, livestock, shops and vehicles have been severely damaged.

According to the Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (FFWC), the affected areas include Maulvi Bazar, Habiganj, Comilla, Chittagong and Fani, through which 5 major rivers pass.

The organization has predicted more rains in Bangladesh, while the citizens are facing severe difficulties due to the disconnection of land communication, and the relief operations are also facing difficulties.

Mohammad Masoom, a resident of Feni district, said that I have not seen such a situation in the last 20 years, my house has been destroyed.

On the other hand, the Bangladeshi students have accused India of releasing the water from the dam, while the students are protesting in this regard.

However, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected all these accusations and said that the news about the release of water from the Dambar Dam on the Gomti River is baseless.

It should be noted that the Gomti River is located in the northeastern Indian state of Tripura, which borders Bangladesh.

As a result of which the water of the river entered Bangladesh in large numbers, while the cause of the flood water causing destruction in Bangladesh is being attributed to the same Gomti river.
