First Test Victory: Pakistan Outsmarts West Indies
Pakistan defeated the West Indies by 127 runs in the first match of the two-Test series.
In the match played in Multan, Pakistan gave the visiting team a target of 251 runs to win, but the entire West Indies team was bundled out for 123 runs.
The West Indies batting line proved to be a wall of sand, with Sajid Khan taking 5 wickets and Abrar Ahmed taking 4 wickets for Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan started their second incomplete innings on the third day with 109 runs for 3 wickets, but Saud Shakeel was dismissed on the very first ball of the game. Mohammad Rizwan also lost his wicket for 2 runs.
Mohammad Rizwan lost his wicket after scoring 2 runs, while Kamran Ghulam was dismissed for 27, Noman Ali for 9, and Sajid Khan for 5 runs. Shan Masood stood out with 52 runs.
For the West Indies, Jamil Warrick bowled brilliantly, taking 7 wickets for 32 runs.
It should be remembered that in the first innings, the Pakistani team was bowled out for 230 runs, in response to which the West Indies team scored 137 runs.
