First ‘Made In Pakistan’ Expo Opens In Jeddah

Pakistan’s first single-country exhibition ‘Made in Pakistan’ and business forum was held at the International Exhibition and Events Center in Jeddah and will continue for three days.

Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister for Investment Ibrahim Al Mubarak, Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce Kamal Khan, Deputy Governor of the Saudi General Foreign Trade Authority Abdulaziz Al-Sakran, President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Hassan Mujab Al-Huwaisi and Pakistan’s  Ambassador Ahmed Farooq inaugurated the exhibition by pressing an electronic button on Wednesday.

Earlier, in his opening speech at the event, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq said, “It is an honor for me to welcome everyone to the exhibition.”

“This is a celebration of the strong economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. It is a testament to the shared vision of our leadership to enhance trade and investment cooperation.”

Ambassador Ahmed Farooq said, “Pakistani companies are participating in textiles, agricultural products, machinery, construction materials, surgical equipment, and sports products, These exhibitions reflect Pakistan’s growing capacity to meet the needs of the Saudi market.

He added, “Saudi Arabia has always been a reliable partner and an important trading ally of Pakistan. Under Saudi leadership, the kingdom is witnessing an unprecedented economic transformation.

Pakistan is ready to contribute and benefit from this journey with its skilled workforce, dynamic industries, and competitive products.”

Ahmed Farooq said, “This exhibition is not just a trade event but a bridge between the two economies. It is an opportunity for Pakistani and Saudi businessmen to explore new avenues of cooperation, advance strategic partnerships, and play their role in Saudi Vision 2030.”
