FIR Against DC Quetta

An unusual incident took place in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, on Saturday. The district administration and PDMA department removed the railway gate, Kanta gate, and railway track that were supposedly encroaching on Chaman Gate. They also took down the gates, fences, and forks that had been installed to protect the Chaman train. The railway police quickly took action and seized the district administration’s machinery. Railway officials have stated that the district administration did not consult with the railway administration nor inform them about the action taken. They estimate that the railway has lost millions of rupees due to this action. As a result, DS Railway has filed a case against Deputy Commissioner Quetta and PDMA staff in the railway police station.
