Field Marshal Asim Munir Vows No Surrender to Terrorists
Field Marshal Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jurat, has declared that Pakistan will never bow before a handful of misguided terrorists who distort the teachings of Islam. Addressing the passing-out parade at Pakistan Military Academy, he reaffirmed that the nation and its armed forces stand united and ready to crush any enemy aggression, whether conventional or otherwise.
The Field Marshal congratulated the graduating cadets, including those from Bangladesh, Iraq, Mali, Maldives, Nigeria, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen, for successfully completing their training at this prestigious institution.
He stated that since the creation of Pakistan, the armed forces—backed by the unwavering support of the people—have never faltered in defending the country from internal and external threats. Highlighting the success of Operation “Mareka-e-Haq / Banyan-e-Mursas”, he said the Pakistan Army had once again demonstrated its unmatched professionalism and strength by defeating the enemy and reinforcing the nation’s trust.
The army chief revealed that during recent operations, enemy Rafale fighter jets were shot down, several strategic bases—including S-400 systems—were destroyed, and Pakistan effectively showcased its multi-domain warfare capabilities. He assured the nation that “by the grace of Allah, we will never allow even an inch of this sacred land to fall into enemy hands.”
Field Marshal Munir praised the unity and resilience of the Pakistani nation, which stood like a steel wall against an arrogant adversary. He criticized India for its hasty accusations and refusal to allow neutral investigations, calling its so-called evidence a political ploy by the ruling party to serve its malicious objectives.
He emphasized that Pakistan’s clear victory against a numerically superior enemy has not only earned the respect of the global community but also further strengthened the youth’s confidence in the armed forces as a key pillar of national strength. Paying tribute to the martyrs and their families, he urged the new officers to live up to their legacy with pride.
Warning of external threats, Munir stated that enemies are trying to create rifts between the people and the armed forces. He praised the contributions of national leadership, bureaucracy, scholars, scientists, media, and the education sector for standing firm with the military during testing times. He also honored the veterans who fought bravely to defend the homeland.
The Field Marshal explained that Pakistan’s defense doctrine is based on credible deterrence and constant readiness. He warned that if the enemy attempts aggression again, Pakistan’s response will exceed all expectations, shattering India’s illusion of geographic security.
Addressing Indian military leadership directly, he said there is “no space for war between two nuclear-armed states.” He urged India to resolve disputes with Pakistan based on international principles, equality, and mutual respect. He stressed that any provocation will be met with a decisive and powerful response, and the responsibility for any resulting regional instability will rest entirely on India.
