Federal Govt Rejects 100 Green Buses Plan For Quetta

The federal government canceled the plan to supply 100 green buses to Quetta.
According to the sources, the provincial government had proposed to provide 100 green buses in the federal budget, but the planning commission approved 25 buses instead of 100, later it was also canceled in the CDWP meeting. Balochistan is the only province where the citizens do not have the facility of mass transit, 8 green buses are being operated by the provincial government through a private company.

Balochistan Government Spokesman Shahid Rand says that currently this project has been canceled and will take up this issue again with the Federation. The provision of mass transit green buses in Quetta is among the priorities of the Chief Minister of Balochistan.

Shahid Rand said that even if 100 buses are not found, they will try to get more buses from the federal government, and they will try to get the remaining buses from the provincial budget. The federation has the right, there is nothing negative about it, it is hoped that a middle way will be found in the negotiations with the federation again.
