Federal Government Will Continue Full Support For Balochistan Development: PM

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, has appreciated the steps taken by the Balochistan government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti for promoting development in the province, maintaining law and order, strengthening political harmony, and effectively addressing public complaints registered with the Prime Minister’s Complaint Cell.

During a meeting held on Thursday, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, provided the Prime Minister with a detailed briefing on the reforms being implemented across various sectors in the province, progress on development projects, and particularly on initiatives in education, health, governance, and public service delivery. The Chief Secretary noted that despite limited resources, the provincial government has ensured effective implementation of its reform agenda.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction and pleasure over the achievements in restoring law and order in Balochistan, including the elimination of 784 terrorists during intelligence-based operations and various security actions. He stated that, due to the joint efforts of the provincial government and security agencies, there has been a significant improvement in the security situation in Balochistan.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed that the federal government will continue to provide full support to the provincial government for Balochistan’s development, stability, and public welfare. He emphasized that all available resources will be utilized to resolve the issues facing Balochistan, complete development projects, and provide relief to the people.
