FC Soldier Martyred in Exchange of Fire at Pak-Afghan Border
Dera Bugti (Ahmed Mari): A brave soldier of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, Sepoy Ido Nosani, embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland during an exchange of fire at the Pak-Afghan border.
According to official sources, FC troops were on routine patrol when enemy forces initiated unprovoked firing. Sepoy Ido Nosani courageously retaliated and fought valiantly until he was martyred in the line of duty.
The martyr hailed from Peer Koh, a town in Dera Bugti. As the news of his martyrdom reached his native area, the atmosphere turned mournful. Locals and relatives expressed pride over his supreme sacrifice, saying that Ido Nosani always regarded the defense of Pakistan as his life’s mission.
The martyr’s father said, “My son gave his life for the country — we are proud of his sacrifice.”
The funeral prayer of the martyred FC soldier was offered with full military honors in Peer Koh. FC personnel presented a salute as the coffin, wrapped in the national flag, was laid to rest. The ceremony was attended by local elders, civil and military officials, and a large number of citizens.
Later, Commandant Bambore Rifles visited the martyr’s residence, met with the bereaved family, and paid tribute to their courage and resilience. He stated that “the Pakistan Army and FC stand as guardians of every drop of our martyrs’ blood and will continue to safeguard our borders at all costs.”
The martyrdom of Sepoy Ido Nosani once again proved that Pakistan’s frontiers are in safe hands. The nation stands proud of its brave sons who sacrifice their lives for the defense and honor of their homeland.
