Fans react angrily as Sony TV confirms ACP Pradyuman’s death in CID
Indian TV’s historic and most popular crime show, CID, is now going through a moment that has broken the hearts of millions of fans.
The show’s main character, ACP Pradyuman, who was played brilliantly by actor Shivaji Sattam for 27 years, has now apparently been axed from the serial.
In the last episode, Pradyuman was shown dying in an explosion, after which there was a strong reaction from the fans. Many people are still not ready to believe that he has left the show.
Fans were considering his “death” as a rumor, but an Instagram post by Sony TV confirmed that “ACP Pradyuman is no more in this world… an unforgettable loss.”
Thousands of emotional comments were seen on social media, with fans saying, “This character is not dead, but the entire CID is dead.”
Shivaji Sattam also broke his silence and said in an interview, “I have not been told whether my role is over or not; I am just taking a break from shooting.”
