Eric Meyer Announces US Full Support For Promoting Investment In Pakistan
Islamabad: Eric Meyer, the head of the US delegation participating in the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2025, has expressed his desire to strengthen bilateral relations with Pakistan further.
Senior US State Department official Eric Meyer said that the US is committed to working with Pakistan on issues of common interest.
The delegation discussed the importance of Pakistan’s mineral sector in a meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and stressed the need to provide investment opportunities to US companies in this sector.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan’s minerals have vast potential and that US companies should take full advantage of these opportunities.
Eric Meyer expressed US interest in promoting investment in Pakistan and said that the US expects more investment in Pakistan’s mineral sector.
He said that he looks forward to working to further deepen the partnership between the US and Pakistan.
During the meeting, the US delegation congratulated the Prime Minister of Pakistan on the successful holding of the forum.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his desire to work with the US administration to further promote bilateral relations.
