Equipment Worth 1 Crore Rupees Was Stolen From A Hospital In Karachi.

KARACHI: In a shocking incident, bandits stole parts of a CT scan machine and other equipment from the Sindh Government Hospital in the Liaquatabad area of Karachi.

According to details, wiring, circuits, UPS, batteries, and other essential equipment were stolen from the Advanced Trauma Center.

This machine was installed at a cost of more than 10 million rupees. After the incident, patients are referred to other hospitals for CT scans.

However, sources have revealed that the investigation initiated into the incident has been stopped by the influential authorities.

In another incident, a fake doctor was caught at Karachi Civil Hospital earlier.

A man named Abdullah, who is said to work in a bakery, was making rounds at the civil hospital’s trauma center wearing a doctor’s gown.

The security guard became suspicious of his rise and upon verification, he was found to be a fake and handed over to the police.

The fake doctor told the police that he dreamed of becoming a medical practitioner since childhood but could not fulfill it as far as his academic qualifications were concerned.

So he dressed up as a doctor and went to the hospital to treat the patients. But, his college boy looks and fancy hairstyle exposed him to the guards who handed him over to the policemen on picket stationed at the Civil Hospital.
