Electricity Prices Expected To Drop In A Few Months
Islamabad: The Ministry of Energy has said that electricity prices are expected to decrease in a few months.
The meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Food Security and Research was held under the chairmanship of MNA Syed Tariq Hussain.
The committee postponed the “Pakistan Animal Science Council Bill, 2024” at the request of the Federal Minister. The bill aimed to establish a dedicated institution to promote research and development in animal science.
The Chairman of the Committee directed the representative of the Ministry and the Ministry of Law to review the bill and seek consensus for the next meeting.
Meanwhile, in the National Assembly Standing Committee on Energy meeting, Ministry of Energy officials said that electricity prices are expected to decrease in a few months.
It should be remembered that a few days ago, Energy Minister Owais Leghari also said that we will make Pakistan the cheapest electricity supplier in the region,
Electricity has become cheaper after talks with IPPs and talks are also underway with more IPPs. It is hoped that the public will get more relief in electricity prices.
