Driving schools for females launched in Lahore

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has taken a positive step to provide empowered, independent, and dignified employment to men and women.

In this regard, 10 driving schools were established in different places in Lahore city.

Driving schools have been set up in Greater Iqbal Park, Kahna Misthaq Center, Township, Police Service Center, Bahria Town, Liberty Service Center, Manawan Traffic Lines, Defense Service Center, and Barkat Market.

Askadar Driving School Jail Road and Women On Well School LOS Ferozepur Road are reserved for women only.

In this regard, CTO Amara Athar says that woman-to-woman service is being provided to women in driving schools, and detailed training on electrical and mechanical work will also be done in the driving course.

He said that scooter training is being given in various universities and colleges under Ride for Change.
