DGMOs Reach Understanding to Ease Tensions
Islamabad: The recent interaction between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India has resulted in a consensus on joint efforts to reduce border tensions and restore peace.
According to sources, this development was possible as a result of regional and international diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing the ongoing tension between the two nuclear powers.
During the talks, both sides expressed their willingness to gradually bring back their forces to the positions established during peacetime.
Although no final date has been set for a ceasefire or reduction in tension, an “informal understanding” has been reached aimed at normalizing the border situation.
This development is being seen as a positive step towards lasting peace and stability in South Asia, which has not only given satisfaction to the region but also to the international community.
