DG ISPR Presents Solid Evidence of Indian-State Sponsored Attacks in Pakistan
Rawalpindi: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, presented undeniable evidence of Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan during a press conference.
He stated that while seven days have passed since the Pahalgam incident, India has yet to provide any evidence supporting its claims. Instead, only verbal accusations have been made. In contrast, Pakistan is presenting solid and verified proof of India’s involvement in terrorism on Pakistani soil.
According to DG ISPR, on April 25, Indian-trained terrorist Abdul Majeed was arrested near a bus terminal in Jhelum. Authorities recovered a 2.5 kg explosive device, an Indian-made drone, and one million rupees in cash from his possession. Majeed’s handler was identified as a serving Indian military officer. Communication between the terrorist and his Indian handler, Subedar Sukhwinder, was intercepted and documented.
The DG ISPR revealed that four Indian military officers were identified in this network: Major Sandeep Verma, Subedar Sukhwinder, Havaldar Amit, and a sepoy. These officers instructed the terrorists to carry out attacks aimed at killing civilians in Pakistan to create the impression that terrorism is rampant in the country. They also sent bomb-making tutorial videos to the terrorists.
Major Sandeep reportedly admitted in the communication that they were conducting terrorist operations from Balochistan to Lahore. On September 24, Sukhwinder indicated the location of explosives in Barnala Bhimber, which Abdul Majeed later collected. On October 13, Majeed carried out a bomb attack on a military vehicle in Bagh district, injuring three soldiers. He was paid PKR 180,000 for this operation.
On November 22, Sukhwinder directed Majeed to another location near Head Marala, where he retrieved a damaged drone and an improvised explosive device (IED). On November 30, he used this IED in Jalalpur Jattan, injuring four soldiers. He was later paid PKR 656,000.
General Ahmed Sharif further disclosed that on March 18, Sukhwinder provided the coordinates for another IED near Kotli. A suspicious bag was found there the next day by school children and later confirmed to contain a bomb by the army unit. Despite this, Indian media spread false propaganda, claiming five bombs were found in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
On April 22, Sukhwinder delivered another IED near Nadala and on April 23 tasked the terrorist with carrying out a bomb attack at a bus stand.
DG ISPR emphasized that India is supplying terrorists with explosives to target Pakistani civilians and security forces, even using drones for delivery. This network is just one example of India’s broader campaign of state terrorism inside Pakistan.
