Deputy PM & Foreign Minister’s Visit to Jordan

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar will undertake a two-day visit to Jordan on 10-11 June 2024 to participate in the high-level conference “Call for Action: World Humanitarian Summit on behalf of the Assistance to Gaza Strip – An Urgent Humanitarian Need” which was co-hosted by King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Mr. António Guterres secretary General of the United Nations.

The Conference seeks to determine and breakout an organizational response to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Depending on the government’s engagement level, the Deputy Prime Minister may have bi-lateral meetings with counterparts in the participating countries.

Commitment of Pakistan with the PEACE and stability of the middle east and its continuous and strong support for Palestinian rights are also witnessed through it’s participation in the conference.
