Talking to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad on Sunday, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwaar ul Haq said that the government is devising an effective strategy to ensure law and order in the country. During the deliberations, members debated over the peace and security issues prevailing in Azad Kashmir and also voted on the political scenario of the state and its budget for the current financial year.
The probably most significant measure in the Muzaffarabad crisis was taken by the Interior Minister who – at the request of the AJK Prime Minister – approved the mobilization of Frontier Constabulary in AJK. Appreciating the security performance, MNA Mohsin Naqvi assured that RAW-based security arrangements will be upgraded in Azad Kashmir and all sorts of support will be provided in this connection to maintain law and order in the state.
He quoted that these were the promises made for the people of Azad Kashmir that we are delivering. To this, the Interior Minister replied that the government of Pakistan is fully with the government and people of Azad Kashmir and shall try to provide possible cooperation for the better and prosperous future of the state. The AJK Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the prompt working of the Interior Minister to solve these concerns.
