Decision To Cancel Vehicle Registration Of Token Tax Defaulters
Islamabad Excise and Taxation Department has decided to cancel the registration of vehicles for non-payment of token tax.
Director Excise and Taxation Bilal Azam Khan said that the process of canceling vehicle registrations will start on January 1.
A 200% fine will be levied on cancellation of vehicle registration and restoration of registration against token tax defaulters.
Owners of vehicles who have not paid token tax have been given a 15-day grace period.
Bilal Azam Khan has appealed to citizens to deposit token tax immediately to avoid legal action.
