Founder PTI Imran Khan refused to meet the FIA cybercrime team on the issue of a tweet from his social media account.
According to media reports, the FIA cybercrime team reached Adiala Jail late at night, however, the founder of PTI refused to answer any questions from the FIA team. Imran Khan also refused to be involved in the investigation by the FIA team and asked the FIA team to answer any question in the presence of the lawyers. On the other hand, the FIA team has obtained the position of the founding PTI in writing.
Later, PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan claimed that Imran Khan was unaware of the controversial tweet and that it should be investigated within the party. Rauf Hassan admitted that Imran Khan’s X account is running from abroad.
It should be noted that the FIA Cyber Crime Wing had started an investigation into sharing Mujeebur Rahman’s video from Imran Khan’s X account, for which Umar Ayub, Gohar Ali Khan, and Rauf Hassan will be questioned. It was also informed. The FIA will investigate why and how the video was shared by the jailed founder of PTI’s X account. The FIA will also look into the matter of banning the X account of the former Prime Minister. The IA team is investigating the promotion of anti-state videos.
