Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has approved a laptop scheme for students. During a meeting held to discuss higher education sector reforms, important decisions were taken, including the approval of the laptop scheme. The latest laptops will be provided to students as a part of the scheme.
A detailed briefing was given on the promotion of higher education, laptops, and transportation facilities for students. The meeting also agreed to prioritize building new universities and colleges in backward districts.
Maryam Nawaz stated that our goal is to have international standard universities in every district and colleges at the tehsil level. The announcement of an “educational emergency” by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to provide 20 thousand motorcycles to students across the province was also welcomed.
