Pakistan had to lose its most important batsman Fakhar Zaman in the very first match of the event when he was ruled out of the tournament due to injury. Cricket observers believe that the absence of Fakhar Zaman in the team could affect Pakistan’s batting.
On the other hand, India is considered the favorite team in this event, having won 5 out of 6 matches against Pakistan since the 2017 Champions Trophy.
