In the virtual meeting of the Cabinet Committee on SOAs chaired by the Federal Finance Minister, the reconstitution of the Pakistan Revenue Automation Board was approved.
A virtual meeting of the Cabinet Committee on SOEs was held under the chairmanship of the Federal Finance Minister, in which the reorganization of the Board of Directors of Pakistan Revenue Automation was approved.
The meeting recommended five majority independent directors and four ex-officio members, selected from the private sector. According to the notification, these names have been approved based on professional education, qualification, and experience.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that the new board will help in better supervision of Pakistan Revenue Automation and in professionally conducting administrative affairs.
