Budget 2025: Officially Announced Salary Hike
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced great news for the salaried class and the people worried about electricity bills, announcing that clear relief will be given in the upcoming federal budget.
The Finance Minister revealed that a complete plan has been prepared to provide relief to the salaried class, which will also be presented to the IMF, while efforts are underway to significantly reduce electricity bills before July significantly.
He said that all the IMF targets have been completed. The approval of the staff-level agreement is expected in May, after which Pakistan will also receive a one-billion-dollar installment and climate financing funds.
The Finance Minister said that 98 percent of the proposals have been received from the private and public sectors for the preparation of the public budget,
and the budget will be implemented from July 1. He said that this time, there will be no delay in the budget.
Muhammad Aurangzeb further said that the tax system is being made easy and simple so that every individual can fill out the forms themselves.
Tax policy will now work under the Ministry of Finance, and there is no intention to link the trader-friendly scheme with tax collection.
