Bangladesh won the Test series for the first time by defeating Pakistan by 6 wickets in the second Test match of the series.
On the last day of the second Test of the series being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh started the game by scoring 42 runs without any loss.
However, on the increase of 16 runs, Bengal Tigers got out with Zakir Hasan scoring 40 runs and Shadman Islam 24 runs, while captain Najamul Hasan Shanto scored 38 runs and Mominul Haq lost his wicket with 34 runs.
For Pakistan, Mir Hamza, Abrar Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, and Khurram Shehzad took one wicket each.
Earlier, the Pakistani team was all out by scoring 172 runs in their second innings while the visiting team was given a target of 185 runs to win.
It should be noted that in the first test match played in Rawalpindi, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets and won the first test match against the green shirts, before that Pakistan was unbeaten.
