Speaking to the participants, the Army Chief said that “Balochistan is the pride of Pakistan” — its people are highly patriotic, talented, and resilient, and they represent the true strength of the province. He highlighted the ongoing development projects initiated by the federal and provincial governments, stating that these initiatives aim to improve the social and economic structure of Balochistan for the welfare of its people. Field Marshal Asim Munir stressed the importance of utilizing Balochistan’s vast economic potential for the betterment of its citizens. Appreciating the constructive role of civil society, he said empowering and guiding the youth is essential for sustainable development. The Army Chief reiterated that political interests must be set aside to ensure enduring prosperity in Balochistan. He further warned that India-backed proxies, including “Fitna al-Hind” and “Fitna al-Khawarij,” are promoting anti-people and anti-development agendas in the province to incite violence. Field Marshal Asim Munir assured that all necessary measures are being taken to eliminate these terrorist elements and free Balochistan from this menace. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region but made it clear that any direct or indirect border violation will be met with a decisive response to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani citizens. According to ISPR, the workshop concluded with an open and detailed question-and-answer session.
