Balochistan Is Cut Off From The Rest Of Pakistan As Floods Wreak Havoc

Heavy rains caused havoc in different areas of Balochistan where different areas got flooded

Along with the railway tracks affected by the rains, the land communication with the villages of various districts has been cut off.

According to Dawn News, heavy rains are continuing in different areas of Balochistan

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, rains are continuing in Dikki, Harnai, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Sorab, Kohlu, Nushki, Qila Abdullah, Zhob, Zehri, Nushki, Kachhi, and Chaman.

However, due to the rains in the Kohlu district, the land connection of Kohlu with Sibi and Quetta was cut off.

Similarly, due to the rains in Kalat district, the land connection of the district headquarters with most of the villages has been cut off

According to the PDMA officials, after the rain in different areas of Nushki district, there was flooding in the rivers and canals of different areas, but no loss of life or property was reported from any area.

According to the district administration of Chaman, the stormy rains caused destruction everywhere in Chaman, and the houses collapsed in different areas.

Various areas have been visited by PDMA, levies, and district administration and the process of providing relief to the distressed people as well as shifting them to safe places is going on.

The British-era railway track in Chaman was washed away in the flood relay due to which the movement of passenger trains in Chaman was suspended due to the railway track being washed away.

Apart from this, torrential rains are continuing in Kutch and Garnawah, due to which the suburbs and low-lying areas of Machh have been flooded.

According to the officials of the Kachchi Irrigation Department, 1,000 cusecs of flood passed in the Bibi Nani River in the Bolan area while 22 cusecs of the flare passed from the Nadi River.
