The ceremony for reducing electricity rates is underway, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will announce the reduction in rates soon.
According to Express News, the government had decided to reduce electricity rates in order to provide convenience to the people and reduce the burden, which is expected to be announced later today at the ceremony.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Energy Minister Owais Leghari, Azam Nazir Tarar, Atta Tarar and other ministers and officials are participating in the ceremony.
